🏭 Rolls-Royce is doubling Raynesway in Derby, where Britain designs, builds and supports Royal Navy submarine reactors.

• 100,000+ m² of new factory/office space
• 1,170 new skilled roles
• 5,500+ employed

💷 The money:

• Australia: £2.4bn over 10 years for UK submarine industry
• Australia: $310m for long-lead propulsion items
• UK: £9bn Unity contract with Rolls-Royce
• UK: £6bn+ this Parliament for Barrow and Derby capacity

👷 Britain is also building the workforce.

Rolls-Royce’s Nuclear Skills Academy in Derby will train 200 apprentices a year, with 800 currently enrolled.
