Apparently 3 Russian MiG-31 "Foxbat" violated the Estonian airspace for more than 15 minutes. The MiG-31 is a mach 3 capable jet and the Russians use them to deploy Kinzhal/Killjoy air launched ballistic missile.
The range of a Kh-47M2 "Kinzhal" / AS-24 "Killjoy" air-launched ballistic missile if it was launched from Estonian airspace.
The actual range of the missile is around 400-500KMs, what matters is the platform carrying it, adding the deployment range.
Current airborne platforms compatible to haul Kinzhals airborne; Tu-22M3 & MiG-31s, soon; Su-57 externally.
