🇮🇱🇮🇷Israel says Iran still has ‘significant’ missile capacity

The Israeli army says Iran still has “significant capacity” to fire missiles, even after destroying dozens of its launchers.

“We have destroyed dozens of missile launchers that posed significant threats to the Israeli front,” said Israeli military spokesman Brigadier General Effie Defrin in a briefing.

“We will continue to strike the missile launchers and reduce the firing, but the regime still has significant capacity, and I would like to remind you that our defence is not impenetrable.”

🇸🇦Projectile hits Saudi Aramco’s Ras Tanura refinery

A projectile has hit Saudi Arabia’s Ras Tanura refinery, the biggest domestic oil refinery operated by Saudi Aramco, according to two sources quoted by Reuters news agency.

The report comes after Saudi Arabia shut down operations at the plant several days ago after a fire broke out that officials said was caused by debris from the interception of two drones.

That said the Iranian regime is severely retarded and schizophrenic so it isn't exactly guaranteed they would make the logical choice of leaving Turkey alone

However still based on where the missile traveled through and the fact it crashed in Hatay does indicate it was not meant for Turkey

Makes no sense for Iran to target Türkiye/Azerbaijan and other states at the moment.

The idea there is different. They’re trying to constantly pressure and annoy Saudi, UAE, etc. Tanker incidents, drones, harassment of energy infrastructure in the Gulf.

Why? Because the goal is to make those countries start questioning the US security umbrella. Unironically this very secure umbrella brought war to these countries.

If Iran can keep creating problems, Gulf states start asking themselves whether hosting US forces actually protecting them, or just making them a target.

If that doubt grows, the Gulf States might start pressuring Washington to calm things down. This is what Iran is hoping for. Escalate to deescalate.
