Android Sideloading in 2026 👎🏻

They should at least give the option to sideload in the developer options of the device!

The Android ecosystem is becoming more and more Apple with each passing day. We shouldn't have to use ADB just to sideload apps 👎🏻

What's the hype about ODialer? And why does everyone keep crying about it? Do you spend all day staring at the dialer? 🤔

Okay so i the past few weeks I've seen people bricking their devices a lot (including me🥲). So i thought to provide some information and solution regarding this.

"Most of normal error and issues can be solved even without EDL flashing by using fastboot methods or even TWRP in most cases. Many of these guides are already available on XDA. Don't just rush for EDL flashing. "

Earlier OnePlus used to provide the flash tool (MSM Tool) through which EDL Flashing could be done anytime needed no login, no credit BS needed. 😒
However given the change in circumstances unfortunately the flash tool aren't public anymore and the ones which work need credit system which one needs to pay for. 😐

Because of the server issues it's not even possible to have access to EDL flashing all time, if the servers are offline from the company's end nobody can do anything about it except wait.

So given all this scenario and drama what is the solution?

Well there 2 viable solution to do ;

Solution 1 (BEST) :
Just visit the OnePlus Exclusive/Authorised Service Center.
- Even if your device is out of warranty, they will fix your device and in most cases for free (like they did in mine personally)
- In some cases SC can also deny flashing for free, totally depends on your timing and luck.

Solution 2 (PAID Services) :
Now, this is when you have no option to visit the SC in person or they're charging way to much.
-In such case you can ask help from guys in the community to do EDL Service for you remotely via TeamViewer etc.
-Ofc, you will have to pay them for this service.
-Price of something like cannot be set at default, it depends on the availability of the servers and many other things, (do your best in negotiating and when you're satisfied then pay.)

Question is who does EDL Service?

While there are many in community whom you can ask and find them in respective groups, but i will urge you to verify them first and proceed.
