I don’t do system ‘updates’. If the hardware sold to me does not continue to perform as advertised with the pre-installed software, then it is a policy problem, industrial sabotage, not a software problem. Otherwise, when the price of a particular good or service increases due to disproportionally increased demand, the prices of everything else must proportionally drop (the substitution effect), otherwise the overall consumption would have to shrink (negative GDP).
