The policy of banning children under 16 from accessing their social media accounts is like banning heroin addicts from accessing heroin; it is not meant to work. Failure is the goal, and on the basis of that failure they will make increasingly degrading demands, like any pimp. Those who are addicted to domination and exploitation can never be satisfied.

I don’t do system ‘updates’. If the hardware sold to me does not continue to perform as advertised with the pre-installed software, then it is a policy problem, industrial sabotage, not a software problem. The fact that every new version of Windows had frustrating bugs that did not arise in the open-source Linux, demonstrates that corporate software is intentionally dysfunctional, with planned obsolescence and the ‘need’ for updates and patches being an essential feature of its business model. Microsoft was not incompetent, or bad at coding, or bad at security; this is a misunderstanding of its primary purpose.

Prices (on average) don’t go up unless there is enough money in the economy to pay higher prices. Otherwise, when the price of a particular good or service increases due to disproportionally increased demand, the prices of everything else must proportionally drop (the substitution effect), otherwise the overall consumption would have to shrink (negative GDP). The sole driver of price-inflation is money creation, which is 97% credit.
The power to create money is an essential feature of sovereignty. When your ‘democratic government’ renunciates 97% this power in favour of the banks, it is the banks that are thereby identified as the sovereign, and your government as their servant.

Human health cannot be decoupled from the endemic viral challenges under which it evolved. Prevention of the natural interaction with the virome must be considered contrary to health and likely to have severe evolutionary consequences, whereas endemic infections, being statistically normal, are by definition healthy.
HYPOTHESIS: Jesus was an agent of the Pharisees, executing a hoax (miracles of healing, resurrection etc) intended to create a new cult of peace, forgiveness and generosity to pacify and subdue the Romans. Thoughts?
The quality of evidence is not a function of direct observation but of confabulation… and the quality of confabulation is a function of the capacity to maintain and endure logical consistency.
A person performs miracles in front of crowds: restores sight to the blind, resurrects the dead, walks on water, turns water into wine, raises from the dead etc and there is not a single first-hand description of what he looked like, not a single artisan draws his portrait.
The biggest moral problem for Christians is not the authenticity of the New Testament (a story can be fictional but still metaphorically constructive) but their acquiescence to the Old Testament idea of God that commands genocide, makes deals with some tribes for special favours, demands chid sacrifice as proof of obedience, mandates genital mutilation of infants... I see no good way of resolving this as a constructive metaphor, except as a test of moral character that requires disobedience, which disqualifies this idea of God.
The word ‘truth’ has a special meaning in religion. Religious narratives are not accepted because they make sense; they are intentionally nonsensical, they are understood to be nonsensical, and are collectively accepted as ‘true’ because they are nonsensical. It is precisely in this intentional submission to nonsense that psychological relief/bliss/salvation is accomplished; the overwhelming difficulty of consistent reasoning is renunciated, the trauma of constant uncertainty is abolished, and the convert becomes free of the constraints of sense, like a wide-eyed newborn. Consequently, religion is not rational consciousness, but its rejection and dissolution as something too painful to endure.
Covid was a global exercise in religious engineering. The official dogma was intentionally absurd, and the relief lied in total submission to absurdity.
Putin does not assassinate Zelensky, does not blow up his office with a missile, because they are partners, on the same team. Together they work the little people.
