No, mental health does not need more funding. The underlying causes and incentives of mental dysfunction need defunding, including the mental health industry.

The essence of controversy associated with official forms asking the applicant to identify their gender from options that go beyond Male and Female is not that it compells acceptance of a dogma or ideology, but resides in the fact that the question is already discriminatory on the basis of gender identity: it invalidates gender identity based on a ‘deeply felt sense of difference from the opposite sex’. By implying that people of different sexes can have the same gender identity (and therefore, legally, the same gender), it invalidates the deeply felt sense that gender is based just on sexual difference.
A question that posits non-binary options does not ask just about subjective preferences but purports to appeal to some normative principle that applies generally, objectively, and this generalisation of gender is already discriminatory (and contradictory, therefore not normative). It is like posting a questionnaire in which applicants are required to state which race is the most superior, and limiting the choices to races that have light coloured skin.

Creation of meaning is the ‘exception’ that grounds sovereignty. These who merely depend on others to provide them with meaning are not sovereign, choose not to be sovereign, but only subjects. “The structure of sense, internalised as the logical consistency of Self-ideation with respect to other beings of the same kind, determines not only the moral integrity of our conduct but the ontological integrity of the Self, where objective morality is not an impediment to conscious agency but its optimal realisation; the essence of creative power over meaning, which is the ultimate self-interest.”

A vaccine is not properly tested for safety without a longitudinal study that looks at overall health outcomes. Moreover, the control group must consist of individuals who were not vaccinated with any vaccine because other vaccines may be strong confounders, with similar long term effects, similar adjuvants and environmental contaminants.

Vinu Arumugham #MAHA argued previously that vaccines produced during the allergy season could be contaminated with air-born allergens (such as pollen). I suspect that even a perfectly purified vaccine could be contaminanted at the time of administration, with pollen being in the air and thus inadvertantly drawn into the syringe or contaminating the needle. I am not sure which possibility is more likely.

Being “open minded” is a euphemism for not having a protocol for discerning true from false, right from wrong.

It is a sin to have sex without a licence from the Church. The licence is called “wedlock” or “marriage”. Sex itself is not a sin, only the failure to obtain the licence is a sin.

Rules/laws that are enforced result only in the appearance of moral behaviour. Genuine moral behaviour is only when people freely choose to act morally because they know it is in their ultimate interest. Enforcement does not educate, does not enlighten, it merely delays the crisis via which people will learn. People learn by breaking the law and suffering its natural consequences, even if nobody is watching, even if nobody knows that the law was violated. In order to learn, people must be allowed the freedom to err, and even destroy themselves if they fail to learn. The only true justice is when it needs no enforcement, no punishment, and also when no action can prevent it, and nothing can escape it. We choose it for ourselves in everything that we do, even if we are not aware of the chain of consequences that must follow. ‘The world as we know it’ is justice.
The best we can do is to study the chain of moral consequences, and we are only beginning. For thousands of years hardly any discoveries were made in this regard, apart from the golden rule, which was merely asserted but not yet comprehensively justified. We are for the most part morally ignorant, and this brings about inevitable suffering.

The only bridge between oneself and another is deliberation, in good faith. While the mechanism of meaning creation is inherently social, it always hinges on individual attitude. The moral law can be reduced to this one principle, because even when we are thinking alone, trying to follow pure logic, we are already invoking our social history as the one who thinks, therefore our integrity as a person, which is the cumulative effect of all our past choices; it either allows us to reflect on things consistently or distorts our judgment and the scope of our vision.
