If we could, by some kind of magic that evades physical causality, delete just one grain of sand from this world, the causal order of the totality would collapse and the world cease to be. In order to remove one grain of sand from the world and still keep the world, every possible identity, every relation, every idea would have to be modified to fit together again, and this is a work that takes all time to accomplish.

The concept ‘truth’ is not necessary for reasoning, which requires only sense. When a system of assertions or propositions does not lead to contradiction it makes integrated sense, can be grasped as a singular idea and expressed as a singular intention. ‘Truth’ is sometimes meant to signify just that, but it is often used nonsensically, as an assertion in its own right, a claim of authority, or to give credence to systems that do not make sense. Truth claims are therefore redundant and can be misused, unless it is clear that ‘truth’ is meant solely as the integrity of sense and is not just an additional assertion, as it would then also be subject to the scrutiny of sense. Sense is the fundamental law. The concept of ‘truth values’ in logic is akin to imaginary numbers in mathematics; these are abstractions that help us formally solve some (typically highly non-linear) problems, but they are not meaningful when presented as the “result/conclusion” of the analysis. They are intermediate terms in complex reasoning.

Every reference to self, every assertion of ‘I’, implies that there are other beings of the same kind for whom the ‘I’ is meant. There is no sense to ‘I’ without ‘you’. For this reason alone, solipsism is absurd.

If the government really believes that mass immigration from 3rd world countries is great for the host economy and culture, but a large section of their electorate disagrees with this belief, then it would be appropriate to settle the dispute by a test: stop all immigration for a few years and let the native population see for themselves how ‘terrible’ their country would become.

It appears that there is no shortage of housing in Australia, since 30-40% of metropolitan residences do not sell at auctions, and the percentage of sales is even lower in regional areas. I see bush homes offered for sale, sit there for a couple of months, do not sell, are then pulled from the market for a couple of months, then advertised again (or not at all), and still nothing happens. The problem is the price expectations of sellers, driven by inflation, and by the loss of purchasing power on the buyer side, also driven by inflation. Low interest rates cause real-estate inflation, since every new mortgage increases the money supply. Nothing will fix housing affordability except brutally high interest rates, recession, combined with the removal of all tax incentives for property investors. At present, property sellers are not budging on price because they expect interest rates to go down, not up, and they can afford to wait.

The term ‘exist’ in logic is not synonymous with physical/empirical existence, but applies to existence in thought, insofar as inconsistent ideas cannot be simultaneously thought of or be combined to make sense.
The concept of logical ‘truth’ can be understood the same way.

People typically assume (inexplicably) that the purpose of the system/policy/government is to serve the welfare of their people/nation/majority/morality/religion/culture etc. Then they get upset when the system reliably and consistently does not produce that outcome, and they call this situation “incompetence”. One could argue that the system is working quite reliably and just as it should be, and any complaints about it are just an expression of “ignorance” about its competent aims, which simultaneously validates its aims and discredits the complainants. Decolonisation guarantees more war. Not high tech, precision warfare between superpowers that mostly targets military facilities and hardware, but low tech, systematic murder between tribal and ethnocentric micro states on account of multigenerational grievances and insecurities. Commonwealth Bank claims that providing cash services (which presumably include the cost of taking cash deposits as well as withdrawals) is costing $0.41 billion per year. This is then used as a reason for imposing a fee on cash withdrawals and reducing the number of ATMs. Dealing with cash is one of the costs of doing banking business, which has generated $9.48 billion statutory full-year net profit after tax for 2023-24 for the CBA, in addition to some $10 billion profits paid to its offshore bond-holders (the Real owners of the bank). According to CBA’s logic, the bank should also get rid of all its staff, which is costing it about $7 billion per annum, if doing regular banking business is too expensive for them.

Democracy is just a thin veil for the rule by the strong. It is more efficient when people just ‘agree to it’ by voting, instead of being tortured and shot.

It is becoming quite obvious now that Ukraine is being systematically and intentionally depopulated of the reproductively functional males, by means of a collaborative effort between NATO and Russia. This demographic imbalance will surely be filled by males from somewhere else, but it is still unclear whom the empire wants to trade the Ukrainian women to.
