Hi everyone, I’m posting this because I’ve hit a critical 24-hour emergency and I need your help to keep my home running.
I just received confirmation that my water will be shut off this Wednesday morning (5/13) unless I can provide a payment or a state "pledge" for $190.23 by tomorrow night (Tuesday, 5/12).
As many of you know, I have been fighting an "insanely high" water bill following the winter shift, which had ballooned to a hundreds of dollers. This is a massive weight while I am still working to rebuild my life and my creative practice after the fire.
What I am doing right now:
• I have officially applied for EAP Crisis Assistance and left emergency messages for AEOA (Arrowhead Economic Opportunity Agency) to get state aid to cover the full balance.
• I am calling 2-1-1 to find any other immediate charity-based "bridge" funds.
• I am in direct contact with the City Clerk to show them that I am working every possible angle.
- and working several jobs between creative work grounds keeping taking on a new second or technically third job.
The Problem:
Even though I have applied for state aid, the paperwork likely won't be processed before the Tuesday night deadline. I need to bridge this $190.23 gap immediately to keep the water on for myself and my pets while the long-term assistance finishes processing.
If you can donate even $5 or $10 to help me hit this $190 goal by tomorrow night, it would quite literally keep my head above water. If you can’t donate, please share this update.

given this doesn’t work i am still so grateful for all the help i have received and have prepared myself with a few gallons of water given the worse case. i love you all thank you. i am trying to work to be able to afford a printer so i can sell my art prints on the side of this i promise i put all my energy in to getting out of this hole. this is a hard embarrassing time for me. even if you can’t help thank you for listening.
