📰 Telegram 12.1 Redesign Review: Is It Really That Bad? 🪟 Telegram has introduced a redesign for the concept of all 26 Apple operating systems, called Liquid Glass. 😔 In the first release, liquid glass cannot be called liquid glass, and that's why:
1️⃣ The redesign is partial. The first photo shows absolutely all the interface elements that have been redesigned. Not anymore. No context menu has been revived, and the list of topics has only been touched on the side. Everything that has not been redesigned remains in the flat-design (iOS 7-18), and the mixture with liquid glass does not look very good.
2️⃣ There is practically no animation. Except for the toolbar, which has the behavior of liquid glass. The topics simply collapse when switching. There is no reaction to the touch, and you can not pull the buttons like rubber.
3️⃣ Baits in the demos. Buttons in the settings are not rounded in reality. The @askplexbot bot did not receive the topics feature, and yet the animation does not match even the latest beta version 12.1.1, where it simply unfolds from the sidebar of the topic.

✨ Well, the good news. The icon has been updated not only for TestFlight (photo 2). The blog says that the redesign will continue gradually, which I really hope for. It's understandable, because the team is small.
