— The participants are preparing, actively preparing, and they're nervous, so it's important for them to hear, of course, a few words from the legendary Pavel Durov. Pavel, literally, please. Your fans are here; the first question is, did they treat you to beshbarmak in Astana?
— No. Good luck to everyone, and I hope you enjoyed it. Thank you.

Nothing special. It’s just that Pavel Durov swings in Astana’s Invictus, which is on Highville.

However, some users have raised the question of whether swimming is allowed in the Kolsay Lakes and if a fine can be imposed for it. According to the national park rules, tourists are allowed to enter the water only in specially designated areas. Swimming in other zones or during the cold season is formally considered a violation of the established requirements.
In this regard, the Tengrinews.kz editorial office contacted the Department for the Protection and Reproduction of Natural Complexes (DPRNC) of the national park for a comment. They reported that swimming in the lake is an administrative offense punishable by a fine. The water body is closed for swimming to all visitors.
It should be noted that a fine of 10 monthly calculation indices (MCI), amounting to 39,320 tenge, is provided for violation of the established rules.

Forwarded from Pavel Durov (Paul Du Rove)
I’m turning 41, but I don’t feel like celebrating.
Our generation is running out of time to save the free Internet built for us by our fathers.
What was once the promise of the free exchange of information is being turned into the ultimate tool of control.
Once-free countries are introducing dystopian measures such as digital IDs (UK), online age checks (Australia), and mass scanning of private messages (EU).
Germany is persecuting anyone who dares to criticize officials on the Internet. The UK is imprisoning thousands for their tweets. France is criminally investigating tech leaders who defend freedom and privacy.
A dark, dystopian world is approaching fast — while we’re asleep. Our generation risks going down in history as the last one that had freedoms — and allowed them to be taken away.
We’ve been fed a lie.
We’ve been made to believe that the greatest fight of our generation is to destroy everything our forefathers left us: tradition, privacy, sovereignty, the free market, and free speech.
By betraying the legacy of our ancestors, we’ve set ourselves on a path toward self-destruction — moral, intellectual, economic, and ultimately biological.
So no, I’m not going to celebrate today. I’m running out of time. We are running out of time.
