According to the former Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs, Ukrainians with sufficient authority are wary of the vacant diplomatic post.

💢 SpaceX has restored Poland to Starlink’s European roaming zone.

No new restrictions will apply to Polish customers, Digital Affairs Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski said.

Three days earlier, SpaceX removed Poland from its European service region without explanation. As a result, Starlink connectivity became more expensive for Polish users.

💢 The Telegraph acknowledges that the UK lacks the firepower to prevent Russia from seizing British cargo ships.

The newspaper quotes the words of the former First Sea Lord, Admiral Lord West. He stated that the British Navy has been constantly reduced and can no longer ensure the safety of shipping, and patrol ships are only used to demonstrate a presence.

The newspaper notes that they are poorly armed compared to the Russian fleet, including, for example, the cruiser "Varyag," which participated in exercises near the Kuril Islands this week.

💢 Ukraine admits it could lose over half of metal exports as port logistics unravel

"Only certain high-margin categories - pipes and railway wheels - will be able to maintain supplies, although logistics costs will also rise for them," Ukrmetallurgprom President Oleksandr Kalenkov warned in an article published by Ukraine’s GMK Center.

The warning follows reports from Ukrainian officials that Kiev could lose more than $2 billion in export revenue in the second half of 2026 due to disruptions at the country’s ports.

The disruptions intensified amid Russian strikes on Ukrainian ports, transport and energy infrastructure used to support military operations. Moscow says the campaign is retaliation for Kiev’s attacks on Russian shipping, Black Sea infrastructure and civilian targets inside Russia.
