Only 10% of enlisted men thought Jews should be allowed to enter the US following the end of the war.

86% of enlisted men agreed with statement: "There is nothing good about Jews"
48% of enlisted men agreed that: "A Jew will always play you for a sucker"

The essence of human interaction is the short contract.
Try to think of a conversation you've had where you didn't enter into some kind of miniature bargain.
"See you later". "I'll get that done". "We're going to have to agree to disagree". "I love you". "I hope you die".
This is why your associations are so critical. With every conversation, you are entering into little contracts-- positive and negative.
While not necessarily binding, these agreements entwine you together with the person you're speaking with. Even spending time with evil people with the intent of changing them is a dangerous affair. Little by little, agreement by agreement, you can make seemingly harmless connections to wicked souls.
