American naval hegemony, more than any other factor, is the lynchpin holding Globohomo together. As long as the world is placated with cheap goods ensured by the US Navy, no one will pose a serious threat.
The return of lawlessness to the high-seas will be the return of localism and the destruction of globalism. Times will get hard, but we need this sort of chemotherapy to flush out the cancer of global consumerism.
