Toxic Masculinity Case Study:
Woman from Colorado was killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis

Witnesses say Renee Good, 37, was following traffic directions from ICE agents. The Trump administration says she was a domestic terrorist who tried to hit a federal agent with her vehicle.

So why the major discrepancies between these two narratives? Two words: Toxic Masculinity.

It is clear from the footage that she was trying to drive away from the situation at a speed of about 3 to 5 mph. The officer who stood in front of her vehicle could have simply side stepped out of the way. Note that he was walking seemingly unbothered the entire time.

The fragile egos of these toxic males was hurt because this woman refused to comply with their demands. Instead of respecting her wishes to leave, one of them decided to kill her by shooting her in the face. Those who suffer from toxic masculinity struggle with the concept of "no" and get violent when they don't get their way. On this occasion, someone died because of it.
