Based on satellite images and the published geographical location, one of the targets of the American airstrikes this week in Ma'shoor Port (Mahshahr) was a building on Sharifi Street, opposite the Governor's Office building.

It is said that this place was used as a base for the IRGC and Basij, as well as an intelligence center affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Local sources have also reported that this building was used in past years as a detention and interrogation site for protesters during public demonstrations.

Twenty-four hours after the government announced efforts to restore electricity, the power situation in many southern governorates remains unchanged.
