The new generation of KDP and PUK leaders are close in age and thinking. A new generation of leaders in Iraq has appeared too. This has helped overcome old political baggage from the past century.

Armed members of the Revolutionary Youth have reportedly issued a warning following todayβs desecration of Kurdish symbols, leader, and images of martyrs in Gweiran, Hasakah.
