The Jolani Regime’s Media Is Working Overtime to Deny the Alawite Massacres

On the anniversary of the coastal massacres, a media figure tied to the Jolani terrorist regime named Musa al-Omar claimed that a photograph of Alawite families killed in #Baniyas was fake, saying it was actually a picture of a Russian family sleeping.

It isn’t.

The people in that photograph are real victims: Muhannad Hassan, a math teacher; his wife, Lina Abdullah; and their baby daughter, Manisa Hassan, born in 2021. They were killed in the al-Qusour neighborhood of Baniyas on March 8, 2025. Muhannad’s mother was also killed that day, and her body was in another room.

When Muhannad’s brother, Moutaz Hassan, found out his family’s image was being used to spread this lie, he posted a follow-up photo taken after the bodies were removed, bloodstains visible on the floor of the same room, and demanded a UN investigation.

This isn’t a mistake or a misunderstanding. This same photo was used in a coordinated disinformation campaign last year. Multiple fact-checking outlets, including “Ta’akad= Verify,” verified that the image is genuine and shows an Alawite family from the Baniyas massacres. And yet the denial campaign keeps going. It even involves exaggerating the killing of security forces on March 6 to retroactively justify the slaughter of thousands of innocent Alawite civilians.

To this day, neither the Alawites of the Syrian coast nor the Druze of #Suwayda have seen anything resembling justice. No one has been held accountable. No one who gave the orders has faced consequences. Instead, the regime’s media machine keeps rewriting history, and counting on the world not to notice.

The body of Martyr Salih Müslüm has been released from the hospital. It will be brought to Rojava. A life and a son dedicated to the Kurdish revolutionary struggle.

Salih Müslüm has earned a place in our hearts both as the father of a martyr and as a revolutionary son and worker of the Kurdish people.

Salih Müslüm was both the father of a martyr and a revolutionary son of the Kurdish people.

Tonight we witnessed another series of major attacks against the Autonomous Region of Kurdistan carried out by Iran and its proxies in Iraq.

Reports of explosions in Hawler (Erbil) amount to at least 15 drones; one of these drones has been intercepted and crashed into the cities event hall.

In Slemani (south of the City), the Headquarters of the Peshmerga was struck by at least 2 drones.

See, the strikes on the Basji checkpoints in Teheran are part of a broader strategy; a gamble in my opinion.

Across urban centres in Iran - checkpoints of the Basji exist, they’re essentially semi-fixed checkpoints to keep the population in check.

This isn’t the USA/Israel running out of targets to strike - it is preparing the grounds for an actual uprising.
The Basji losing much of their facilities and now their checkpoints will leave them disorganised and unable to effectively suppress the population; normally the Iranian response to public unrest is to allow the protests to unfold for a couple of days while their forces gather strength and prepare for the crackdown - I have explained this during the latest wave of protests in Iran.
Amassing strength and coordinating the crackdown on protesters will become a very difficult task for the regime as their infrastructure has been largely destroyed.

I call it a gamble because it’s (per my source) a relatively small network of people who’ll *rise up* believing that an uprising will inspire large parts of the population to join in.

This is what Reza hints at when he says to await “his call” - this group however is not actually his network; even though he will claim them to be.

In the Kurdish city of Kirkuk - the USA or Israel has carried out an airstrike on a military headquarters of the Hashd al Shaabi (PMF).

The units stationed there are mostly Turkmen members of the Hashd; they are also part of the Hashd Special Forces.

Aside from that, these units are the ones who were involved in the attacks against the Autonomous Region of Kurdistan; both during and before the current war - operating out of Kirkuk in the Nineveh plains.
