Today, we held a very productive meeting with Secretary Marco Rubio @SecRubio and Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani to tackle the progress made in implementing the integration agreement.

We express our gratitude to the United States for its role in facilitating this agreement and supporting its implementation. We also appreciate the diplomatic efforts that enabled our delegation to participate in the Munich Security Conference @MunSecConf as representatives of the Syrian state within its unified national framework

During the participation of the Syrian delegation in the Munich Security Conference 2026 in the city of Munich, a joint meeting was held with His Royal Highness the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, with the participation of the Commander-in-Chief of our forces, Mazloum Abdi.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia affirmed during the meeting its readiness to contribute to all the points that the Syrians agree upon, and its support for the path of national integration and the implementation of the January 29 agreement.For his part, the Commander-in-Chief expressed his thanks and appreciation for the Kingdom’s role in supporting Syria from the very first day, its backing of efforts to lift sanctions, and its facilitation of the path of the agreement.
