The FDA granted traditional approval for adults ages 50–64 and accelerated approval for those 65 and older. 1/2

“We recognize the importance of protecting older Americans from influenza, but we are deeply concerned that the FDA has taken this risky step,” said IMA President and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Joseph Varon.  “Frontline doctors are seeing a growing number of mRNA induced health crises every day, including heart inflammation, autoimmune disorders, and aggressive resurgence of cancers.”

“Expanding the mRNA platform into routine seasonal vaccination demands exceptional transparency, careful patient evaluation and thorough long-term safety monitoring,” continued Varon. “Patients must be given full information about mRNA’s track record of long term complications so they can decide for themselves if the rewards outweigh the risks.”

The Independent Medical Alliance Applauds Today’s Exec Order on Childhood Vaccines

FULL STATEMENT: (Washington, DC) – The Independent Medical Alliance – a coalition of independent doctors, healthcare providers, and researchers – today praised President Trump’s executive order requiring changes to the federal vaccine guidelines, including aligning the childhood vaccine schedule with the “gold standard” vaccine recommendations from peer nations. 1/2

“This executive order is a big step toward restoring sanity in US childhood vaccines,” said Dr. Kat Lindley, Director of the IMA Fellowship Program. “This move strengthens parental authority, personal autonomy, and individual consent, three fundamentals of good health care that have been sorely missing from government healthcare policy.”

HHS conducted a study that found the US recommends more than twice as many vaccine doses as some peer nations, which has contributed to the growing angst among parents wanting federal vaccine policy that prioritizes parental authority and full transparency about risks.

“In calling for more research and future recommendations, the executive order also recognizes that today’s action is just one step in the overall progress toward ensuring full vaccine safety for America’s children,” continued Dr. Lindley.

Specifically, the executive order:

• Establishes new “Gold Standard Childhood Vaccine Recommendations” that divide childhood vaccines into three categories: universally recommended, recommended for certain high-risk groups, and available through shared clinical decision-making.

• Moves federal vaccine policy beyond reliance on the traditional CDC/ACIP process, directing federal agencies to advance the new recommendations to the fullest extent allowed by law.

• Calls for measles, mumps and rubella vaccines to be offered as separate single-disease shots once those products become available in the United States, while preserving access to combination vaccines.

• Directs that childhood vaccines be administered at separate medical visits whenever feasible, rather than routinely combining multiple vaccinations in a single visit.

• Launches a new review of the timing and sequencing of childhood vaccines, directing HHS to evaluate whether the federal childhood vaccine schedule should be adjusted based on updated scientific evidence.

• Orders research into alternatives to aluminum-based vaccine adjuvants, including comparative safety and effectiveness studies.

• Expands ongoing vaccine safety review and monitoring, including continuous assessment of vaccine risks and benefits using both U.S. and international data.

• Calls for greater transparency and additional research into childhood vaccine safety.

• Makes parental choice an explicit federal policy priority, stating that federal programs and funding should support maximum parental choice over childhood vaccination consistent with federal law.

• Encourages states to reconsider school vaccine mandates in light of the new recommendations, scientific assessment, and practices in peer developed countries.

• Directs the Department of Justice to support appropriate legal challenges to state vaccine laws that may conflict with federal protections involving parental authority, religious freedom, disability accommodations, or equal protection.

• Requires HHS to present an implementation plan within 90 days through the HHS Task Force on Safer Childhood Vaccines. 2/2

The Independent Medical Alliance Calls for Accountability of Government Officials Who Intentionally Hid COVID Shot Miscarriage Dangers

The nation’s largest network of independent doctors & healthcare professionals says the latest Fauci diary revelations demand accountability for obscuring mRNA induced miscarriage dangers.

FULL STATEMENT: (Washington, DC) – The Independent Medical Alliance (IMA) – a coalition of independent doctors, healthcare providers, and researchers – today took the unusual step of calling for the strongest possible accountability of those government officials who downplayed and/or hid the data and increasing concerns about the COVID mRNA shot causing pregnancy miscarriages. 1/2

“Families lost children,” said Dr. Kat Lindley, IMA Fellowship Director. “Let me repeat that, families lost children as a direct result of government officials hiding information. This horror shattered families, and there must be the strongest accountability to ensure it never happens again.”

In the latest releases of the Fauci diaries, entries in late January 2021 show Dr. Fauci warning CDC Director Walensky and Surgeon General Murthy about the possibility that the second mRNA shot could cause miscarriages in pregnant women. Fauci wrote, “I asked around a bit more and another issue came up that you need to be aware of. Since many people have significant cytokines storm and fever after the 2nd dose, this theoretically could be associated with miscarriage in the 1st trimester.”

Yet just days later, Fauci told the Journal of the American Medical Association there were “no red flags” regarding pregnant women. In April of 2021, Walensky said in a White House briefing that there were “no safety concerns” for pregnant women. And throughout the year, Murthy delivered speeches urging pregnant women to get the vaccine or be at “risk of bad outcomes.”

“Transparency must be at the very core of any healthcare system,” continued Dr. Lindley. “And that’s particularly true with pregnant women, who are among the most medically vulnerable patients. On this score, government healthcare receives the lowest of failing grades.”

During COVID, multiple studies demonstrated elevated rates of pregnancies ending in stillbirth, along with increased reports of unusual bleeding and other menstrual cycle issues among women who had received the mRNA shot.

The Independent Medical Alliance doctors were among those who fought back against censorship and threats from the medical establishment, and instead raised alarms about the harms doctors were seeing from the mRNA shot. 2/2

Federal Judge Blocks California From Punishing Independent Medical Alliance (IMA) Doctors for Challenging Gov’t Mandated COVID Orthodoxy

Court finds IMA President Emeritus, Senior Fellow likely to prevail on First Amendment claim against California medical regulators

(Washington, DC) – In a major victory for medical freedom and the First Amendment, a federal judge has barred California officials from investigating, prosecuting, or punishing Independent Medical Alliance President Emeritus Dr. Pierre Kory, IMA Senior Fellow Dr. Brian Tyson, and other doctors because their medical opinions about COVID-19 differ from positions promoted by government public health authorities. 1/2

“It’s hard to believe that years later, states are still trying to silence and punish doctors for their very accurate statements about COVID, but here we are,” said Dr. Brian Tyson, an IMA Senior Fellow and a plaintiff in this case.

The preliminary injunction, issued August 5 by Senior U.S. District Judge William B. Shubb in the case Kory v. Bonta, found that Kory, Tyson, and their fellow physician plaintiffs are “likely to succeed on their claim that California’s policy constitutes unconstitutional viewpoint discrimination.”

The ruling prevents California Attorney General Rob Bonta and the state’s medical licensing boards from using their disciplinary authority to target these doctors because of the COVID information, recommendations, or medical advice they provide to patients.

“This is a victory for every doctor who believes that medicine must be guided by evidence, clinical judgment, and the needs of the individual patient, not by government-approved talking points,” continued Tyson. “For years, physicians who challenged the official COVID narrative faced the threat of investigations, professional discipline and the loss of their livelihoods.”

“This ruling sends a powerful message that the government does not get to decide which medical opinions doctors are allowed to express.”

IMA Fellow Dr. Kimberly Biss Reveals What Happened to Miscarriage Rates in Her Medical Practice During COVID

FULL STATEMENT: (Washington, DC) – In a newly released video, Independent Medical Alliance Senior Fellow, Dr. Kimberly Biss, explains the observations and data on miscarriages that she saw in her practice during the COVID era. This comes as the release of Dr. Fauci’s text messages reveal that he and others had concerns about the mRNA shot causing failed pregnancies, yet publicly maintaining there was zero concern. 1/2

“I can tell you first hand, I’d never seen numbers like that in all my years of practice, which began in 1998. And it’s horrifying,” said Dr. Kimberly Biss, a respected obstetrician-gynecologist. “I don’t understand why so many in the mainstream press are refusing to acknowledge this, as if they’re rooting for the vaccine and against women.”

In the video, Dr. Biss estimated that some 60% of her patients had taken the COVID shot, and that miscarriage rates, which had averaged about 4% in 2020, doubled to 8% in 2021, and reached 15–16% in 2022.

Dr. Biss points out that there were ample warning signs including:
• Pfizer’s trial enrolled no pregnant women, but 144 participants became pregnant anyway and 17 of them miscarried, roughly double the 5% to 6% first-trimester baseline.
• Pfizer’s post-marketing report listed 270 pregnant patients and followed up on 32. Twenty-six of those lost their babies.
• The New England Journal of Medicine paper that became the reassurance everyone cited built its 12.6% rate on a group in which roughly 700 of 827 women were vaccinated too late in pregnancy to register a first-trimester loss at all.
• ACOG launched its campaign aimed at pregnant women in April 2021, and a FOIA request by attorney Maggie Thorp later established that it received $11 million routed through a trust funded with HHS money.

“It’s absolutely criminal that our medical system would prescribe a brand new, untested and unproven drug to pregnant women, arguably the most vulnerable population in medicine,” continued Dr. Biss. “We never gave anything brand new out of the gate to our pregnant patients. Before Covid, that would have been considered malpractice.”
