The buses were loaded with members of Iraqi Hezbollah. As soon as the two buses entered al-Bukamal, accompanied by military protection, they met with a third bus loaded with members from al-Bukamal, and headed to Damascus.

Kata'ib Hezbollah sending members to Damascus from Iraq and Deir ez-Zor comes within the framework of mobilization and alert as a result of the escalation of military operations in Lebanon.

➡️ According to Russian State Media, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in the Kremlin. Last time, the two politicians met in October, 2023, at the Belt and Road forum in Mainland China.

➡️ It's noteworthy that for the next six months, Hungary will chair the European Council.

➡️ On June 2, Orban visited Kiev as the leader of a European Council presiding nation, where he met with Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelensky.

➡️ Orban offered Zelensky conditions for a ceasefire in Ukraine, but Zelensky rejected them, according to his office.

🚢 🇸🇬 🇾🇪 Chee Hong Tat said nearly all containerships bound for Singapore were arriving late, as the Red Sea crisis continues to disrupt shipping schedules.

🔶️ So far this year, 90% of boxships calling at the world’s second-busiest port were not berthing on time – the 2023 average was 77%, he said.

🔶️ Mr Chee added that his ministry was working with port operator PSA to ramp up capacity in anticipation of more ship arrivals. On Monday, the first of three new berths at Singapore’s new megaport in Tuas estate began operations, and two more berths will open in October and December.

🔶️ Opening the new berths is in addition to the reactivation of shuttered facilities in downtown Singapore – the Keppel and Tanjong Pagar terminals.
