🏴❌🇳🇪— Islamic State Sahel Province (ISSP) terrorists launched a large assault on the Nigerien army and national guard camps in Bani Bangou yesterday, western Niger.

➡️ More than 70 soldiers were killed, including the commander of the base (pictured), the Nigerien government however only admitted losing 34 soldiers, ISSP did not give an exact number but affirmed that 'dozens of soldiers were killed'

➡️ 14 vehicles belonging to the army and 2 vehicles belonging to the national guard were destroyed, 3 others were captured along with 'large amounts of weapons and ammunition' from both camps

➡️ As a distraction, the terrorist group launched Katyusha rockets at the Inates base some time before the assault on Bani Bangou.
