💥 — About the GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator:

➡️ The GBU-57 is a munition held solely by the U.S. Air Force that is designed for the use of destroying heavily fortified and deep-underground bunkers, and the only current operational bomber capable of carrying the bomb is the B-2 , which is also only operated by the USAF with nineteen currently being in service.

➡️ The GBU-57 is capable of penetrating up to 60 meters of reinforced concrete, which is weaker than the natural fortifications present defending the Fordow nuclear facility; multiple will be required, and the efficiency of the bomb diminishes after each use on the same target. The B-2 can carry up to two GBU-57s at a time, and at least 20 are owned by the USAF.
