The delegation of the leadership of the Islamic Resistance Movement [Hamas] concluded its meetings in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, where the delegation held an in-depth dialogue with the Fatah movement about forming a committee to administer the Gaza Strip on the path to implementing the comprehensive agreements that were agreed upon nationally to achieve national unity and completely end the division and its multiple effects.

The delegation reported the movement's approval of the proposal submitted by our brothers in Egypt regarding the formation of a community support committee through comprehensive national mechanisms.

The delegation also met with the leadership of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, where they discussed the overall political and field developments in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

The delegation also held meetings with a number of Palestinian national and dignitary figures present in Cairo, where they were informed of the meetings that took place with the Fatah movement and the movement’s position towards the Egyptian proposal within the national framework.
