I'm tired of seeing people who still believe that "VA is for gaming". Every week someone asks what VA to buy. Even Samsung Odyssey is a bit better but they all have Black Smearing.
The switch between black-white-black is times longer than G-to-G. It makes thin white elements flicker back and forth: grass, fences, fabric, UI elements and text — they will all flicker. The slower the FPS the worse the flicker will be.
- Buy IPS for mixed use
- Buy OLED for entertainment
- Never buy VA and smack anyone who suggest it
On average, people should buy IPS (as of now). They are fast, they never burn, they don't flicker, and they render text perfectly.

PS. Calling the guy "neo-fascist" is equally unhinged... but turning a very much business vs customer legal battle into ideological was bad. The founder of Stop Killing Games said "okay, but I didn't get the connection" (to their cause).
I'm sure someone is trying to sabotage Stop Killing Games. Since corpos can now say these things are the same with racism.

Japanese manga artist Masahiro Itosugi lost his entire Google account simply for uploading his own old private comic files to Drive.
- Your files in the cloud ARE NOT YOURS, THEY ARE NOT PRIVATE
- Everything you ever uploaded online STAYS THERE, even if you no longer can access it
- Don't use Google Login (unless it's required)
- Keep personal Google and Work Google separate (if possible)
Kind reminder that Apple suddenly restored photos and videos deleted up to a decade ago, sometimes on devices of a new owner. Yes, including very private shots.
VKcom did the same about a year before Apple did it. Long-deleted albums re-appeared and often private albums were no longer private. Even if people no longer have had access to their old accounts, their friends and family members could seen stuff for several weeks.
During the last couple of years all companies confirmed they will analyze your files in the cloud with AI and will take actions against you (even if it's false positive)
