Just met an adorable African gray (Psittacus) named Barry (but it's a girl). It's 17, lives in a tiny pet shop, talks, dances, all the stuff. The owner allows it to hang outside of the cage, it looks happy.

Another one lives in a cafe nearby, and a whole bunch of them lives in a local zoo as well. Sadly, one of the zoo grays is seemingly a home bird, so 20 crazy neighbours are screaming around it and it says "hello" to humans and suspiciously look around.

They are extremely social, sensitive, require tons of care, and most likely outlive their owners (they live up to 80 years). And way too many of them are being taken from nature to only end up as neglected or abandoned.

Over the last couple of years I intentionally added all reasonable free to play multiplayer games to my Steam account. Dozens of games to simply look after the industry.

Many of them were just released
Most of them are already closed

Like literally: end of line, support termination, we took a tough decision to take the game offline. Party games, competitive games, and so on. I haven't even played most of them and never will. Often they don't even announce it — the server just goes offline and the game ends up unable to connect.

Were they that bad? Nope, but the whole market is oversaturated and there's barely any place left to conquer. Make solo games, folks, they are timeless.

Subnautica 2, Forza Horizon 6, and Lego Batman all leaked before the release.

Playground Games announced that everyone who played the leaked FH6, will be permanently banned by the account and by their hardware in all Forza Horizon games. And some players were already banned even if they pre-ordered the premium edition and own every single game of the series. But were tempted to start a week earlier — still permanently banned and proposed to refund.

Batora, the game I picked some time ago on sale, is the most "Californian writing" example ever (maybe the second place after Forspoken or the third one after the last Saints Row).

Why do they even do it? No one talks like that...

It's also a fairly competent isometric combat game with two different states to fight physical and mental enemies.

But only approximately 52% of people made it 10 minutes into the story to obtain both powers. That number must be at least 80% for a healthy game. And people apparently dropped it right away.
