Since February 18, 2027 new mobile devices in the EU will have to be developed with removable batteries in mind. No glue, no heating, only x screws and simple clipping elements.
The reason is that almost all the devices made in the last decade were locked out so bad that in case of spicy pillow the whole thing was almost certainly destroyed. It was nearly impossible to repair, disassemble, or remove the battery and place it into special recycling bin.
Since the same law enforcing the USB C made the global change, this law will also affect models worldwide.

The ban list surpassed 3500, today they've sent about 50 and the guardian took them down. Their attempts are minuscule compared to the original wave. Since they can't break in, they don't waste resources.
Over the week the defence banned only two real people (with reasonable profiles but poor name choices). Unfortunately, we can't bring them back. I adjusted the mechanism so only one would be banned now. In the second case, I can't prevent further bans since such pattern is about 10% of spam followers.

The most basic GPU to do so is GTX 1660 which may run at 1080P@30FPS. And you need an SSD to be able to play the game, which is expected for a modern open world.

Some may be confused like "I remember HDR in Half-Life Lost Coast!" but that wasn't HDR, it was dynamic exposure (supported by Godot for ages).
This time real HDR screens with huge luminosity will be compatible with Godot out of the box. I still recommend make your games compatible and focused on SDR first and extend to HDR later.

I'm still curious that barely anyone gets colours right and it's even worse with HDR. Sadly, Windows HDR support is also the one to blame.

Unfortunately, Gang of Dragon developers' social media pages are vanishing. Even their YouTube is gone.
The studio, founded by the creator of Yakuza game series, lost the funding a few months ago. The publisher NetEase refused to provide extra $44m to complete the game and stopped financing the development since the beginning of 2026.
Instead they proposed the Devs to find a new publisher who will be ready to cover up the initial development and assets + any further operations. If so, NE would happily share the IP. Which is better than nothing but still a horrible deal.
