So, Dying Light: The Beast (First Impressions) https://steamcommunity.com/id/rinocrosser/recommended/3008130 We need more games that look and feel differently from the current UE “realism”. And DL The Beast definitely serves that itch — it feels like a game…
And Dying Light 2 even after three years still looks more advanced, but I assume that The Beast was like 10 times cheaper in production.

The city in DL2 was unimaginable (keep in mind that almost every building is accessible with interiors, zombies, inhabitants, and so on). Even skyscrapers!

I double that: The Beast is far from perfect, but it delivers exactly what fans of the series wanted.

Techland managed to unite Dying Light 1 and 2 fans, and the DLC with a very limited budged turned into a game that sold millions of copies in a couple of weeks!

Dropped a list with some of my favourite small and medium-size games on Autumn Sale: https://x.com/GameUnionTV/status/1974120201093591337 #IndieGames@GameDEV
One more for the collection: Thunderful are cooking with Planet of Lana, The Gunk, Lost in Random, SteamWorld Series, Laika, Viewfinder, Lego Brick Tales, and Islanders.

But for today I've tried Wavetale, a dystopian tale of a girl, living on islands that were just corrupted by unknown mist.
