Rare Phenomenon: Persistent Luminescent Clouds Over Norway Rare Phenomenon: Persistent Luminescent Clouds Over Norway

🏐 Recently, an extraordinary occurrence of persistent luminescent clouds, also known as pearlescent clouds, was captured over the skies of Norway. Witnesses sent in stunning footage showcasing the unique coloring of these clouds, which typically form at altitudes of 15 to 25 km.

🏐 Lately, pearlescent clouds have been commonly observed in many countries. Eyewitnesses have been sending in photographs from England, Denmark, St. Petersburg, Norway, Switzerland, Scotland, and other nations.

✨ Persistent luminescent clouds come in two types:

Type I clouds, containing water, nitric acid, and/or sulfuric acid, form when temperatures drop to -78Β°C or below.
Type II clouds consist solely of water ice, requiring temperatures of -83Β°C or lower for their formation.
🏐 While Type II clouds are harmless, consisting only of water, Type I clouds pose a potential threat due to the destruction of stratospheric ozone in the areas where they appear. The surfaces of these clouds act as catalysts, converting more benign forms of artificial chlorine into active free radicals, contributing to ozone depletion.

‼️ This captivating phenomenon is not only observed in the polar regions but has recently been spotted in European countries like Norway, defying its typical occurrence near the South Pole. The unprecedented cooling of the stratosphere has led to these clouds appearing in regions far removed from the pole.

⚠️ Enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of these clouds, but also recognize the implications they carry for our atmosphere.

πŸ”΄ Mega storms, droughts, and global warming are manifestations of one process. Russian scientists conclude extensive study in the seas of the Far East and the Arctic. Their conclusion is unprecedented: oceans, not human activity, are driving climate change on Earth.

πŸ”΄ Heliophysicists concerned: sunspots are abundant, yet no solar flares. The Sun's magnetic field is rapidly weakening, signaling potential intensification of magnetic storms on Earth.

πŸ”΄ A scientist believes Russia will warm by five to ten degrees by the end of the century.

#Norway #Ingunn #StormIngunn #climate #destruction #anomaly
‼️ πŸ‡³πŸ‡΄ Yesterday, Norwegian meteorological services warned of the approach of the most powerful storm in the last 30 years and urged people to stay indoors. A red warning, the highest level, was issued for the area around the city of Trondheim and for the Lofoten Islands, located in the north along the Arctic coast.

πŸ“ˆ Norwegian meteorologists named the storm "Ingunn"; it hit central Norway around noon on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. The Associated Press reported wind gusts of up to 180 km/h. Additionally, BBC News reported wind speeds of 155 miles per hour (249 km/h) on the Faroe Islandsβ€”much stronger than any gust observed during the Great Storm of 1987 in the United Kingdom.

πŸ“£ Today, the storm has moved northward. Link to the live stream tracking the storm's movement from the satellite:
