⛰ On July 13, a significant landslide occurred in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, along the Chandigarh–Manali National Highway, approximately four miles from the town of Mandi. The landslide blocked traffic and caused major delays on one of the region’s main tourist routes.
Local authorities mobilized road and emergency crews to clear the debris and restore access. No casualties have been reported so far. Residents and tourists are advised to avoid travel on the mountain highway until the cleanup and repair work is complete.

🇮🇳 Tragic Flood in Mandi, India
🌧 On July 29, 2025, in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, three people lost their lives due to devastating flooding. One more person was injured.
🚨 More than 20 cars were submerged, and around two dozen houses were partially damaged. People lost their homes, and streets turned into raging rivers.
⚠️ Additionally, the flood led to the blockage of the National Park, a vital natural site in the region. Access to it is temporarily unavailable.
The residents of Mandi are shocked by the scale of the disaster. Emergency services continue to deal with the aftermath.
