🔥|😢 On January 20, 2025, three firefighters tragically lost their lives while battling a massive wildfire in Los Sauces, Araucanía Region. The fire has already consumed over 400 hectares of vegetation and forest and remains out of control, posing a serious threat to local residents.

⚠️ A red alert was declared in the commune on Sunday, prompting the evacuation of families from several areas. To coordinate efforts to combat the fire and ensure safety, a Disaster Risk Management Committee (COGRID) meeting will be held in Los Sauces on the morning of January 20.
