🔥🇺🇸 According to Cal Fire, the fire in Shervud, California, USA, started May 10, 2024 around 10:15 in the morning.

✔️Firefighters are actively working to contain the grass fire. According to John Drucker, a representative of the Kern County Fire Department, the fire is rapidly spreading through dry grass and hills, fueled by moderate winds. Several houses are in the path of the fire.

✔️ National Weather Service meteorologist Carlos Molina notes that firefighters are using planes from Porterville to extinguish the fire. On Friday, the temperature reached around 70 degrees, with northwest winds ranging from 10 to 12 miles per hour. It is expected that the temperature will rise an additional 10-15 degrees by Sunday, reaching the mid-80s Fahrenheit. Relative humidity is also expected to decrease to around 15-19% by Sunday.
