🇮🇳 Mysterious Pit in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, India

⁉️On December 28, 2024, a terrifying incident occurred in the Mohangarh area of Jaisalmer district, causing panic among local residents. While drilling an artesian well on a field owned by farmer Vikram Singh, the ground suddenly split open.

According to eyewitnesses, the drilling machine reached a depth of approximately 850 feet when something unexpected happened. The ground cracked, and a massive fountain of water, gas, and mud erupted from the newly formed pit. The powerful flow swept away the drilling machine and a truck, which completely disappeared into the ground.

Scientists from the Department of Groundwater, including Narayan Das Inkhia, reported that the water was ejected at such a high speed that it shot up to three to four feet above the ground. This event, resembling a volcanic eruption, left all the witnesses terrified.

Local residents report that the water and gas eruption is ongoing, raising concerns about the safety of the surrounding area.
