🇵🇪 Tragedy in Peru: Roof Collapse at Real Plaza Trujillo

🆘 On February 21, 2025, in Trujillo, Peru, the roof of the food court at the Real Plaza Trujillo shopping center collapse. The incident resulted in three fatalities, including two men and one woman, and 79 injurie. Among the injured are nine children aged between 10 and 12; the condition of 11 individuals is considered seriou. The collapse occurred around 8:45 PM local time, when many families were present in the food court are. The affected area covers approximately 700–800 square meter. Several people remain trapped under the debris, and rescue operations are ongoin. Interior Minister Juan José Santiváñez highlighted the need for hydraulic cranes to lift heavy roof fragment.
