🇮🇳 Heavy Snowfalls in India Leave Tourists Stranded

❄️ At the end of December 2024, heavy snowfalls hit northern regions of India, including Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. The weather conditions caused transportation disruptions, road blockages, and challenges for locals and tourists.

‼️In Jammu and Kashmir, up to 3 inches of snow fell, blocking roads and stranding around 2,000 vehicles. The situation was even more severe in Himachal Pradesh, where about 5,000 tourists were trapped at the Solang Nala ski resort due to snowdrifts.

🆘 Rescue services and the Indian Army actively intervened to ensure the safety of those affected.
