‼️ Early in the morning of January 21, 2025, a 6.4-magnitude earthquake struck southern Taiwan. The strong tremors were recorded at 12:17 AM local time, causing significant damage and panic among residents.

🆘 The most severe impacts were reported in Tainan City. In Yujing District, supermarket shelves collapsed, scattering goods and beverages across the floor. In Nanxi District, a bungalow collapsed, trapping three people — two adults and one child. Rescue teams have arrived at the scene, and efforts to retrieve those trapped are ongoing.
