"Interfering with Nature"
Nature did just fine all by herself, delivering us massive, healthy national forests.
But we had to 'protect' them by extinguishing all the natural, low-level fires that clean up the tinder and allow continuous replacement trees to grow.
We told the lumber industry, whose financial interest is in maintaining healthy forests, that they were not allowed to harvest this abundant natural resource. Now, we're losing it.
The environmental wackos protested the lumber industry to protect the spotted owl... now they are BBQ chicken.
People are arrogant and stupid. Nature should be approached with humility and wonder.

"My Uniform"
I never served in the military, so I see these years of service to my country as my "tour of duty."
I typically wear flag apparel to celebrate our country, and as my "uniform," daily reminding me of the country and the God that I'm serving.
I used to be surprised when people took offence to my obvious patriotism. But now I understand.
These people HATE our country, and despise liberty. And where I might want to leave people alone and let them be stupid, they cannot tolerate my freedom. They want to control how I think and act, regardless of how irrational or destructive their stupid ideas are.
Communists hate liberty, because liberty was God's idea, and they are aligned with Satan.
Sadly, while we would leave them alone to their own destruction, they cannot abide our success. They hate us, and want to kill us if we will not conform to their evil agenda.
So, in the end, it always ends up that if we want to continue enjoying our liberty we will have to kill them. Not because we hate them, but because otherwise they will kill us.
We wait... hoping for the best... hoping that they will learn and leave us alone. But in the end it's them or us.
And our children.
And my lovely new friends in South Korea. We bled and died for them once before, looks like we are going to have to step up again.
