Shouldn't offers like these be made first on a personal level?

Don't get me wrong, it would be great if these 2 movements would cooperate. But asking one party to put the ego aside, while doing so publicly, sounds more like a pr-stunt, than a serious offer to me.

I feel fortunate that on of you reached out to me a while ago and taught me a great deal about the Koran. This is what he has to say about this scholar:

'The word that he translates to "pray" in Arabic is called Salaat صلاة
Derives the root from Sela صلة
Which means: relation, connection.
The one who is "connected" with God, would naturally not commit attrocities.

But in his head and the head of many of this man's listeners, when they hear Salaat or Pray, they don't think the man refers to being connected with God, they understand as the physical ritual up and down 5 times per day.
You see these "middle men" a cross history have made-up and prioritized the superficial(that can be faked e.g. Physical ritual, long beard, certain dress code) over the internal more meaningful and truthful aspect of one's connection with God (which cannot be faked, translates into good actions/decisions)

This so called Islamic scholar, needs some schooling on the one source material, the Qur'an.

The Irish are being told that their children will be placed into a "lottery" for school places for their children, as foreign children must come before them.

A great incentive for homeschooling, I would say. What would your children learn on schools like that anyway? What if you teach them as a community, outside of the system?

Bhattacharya said transparency would be central to the NIH under his leadership.
