Who will prevail in your opinion: RedBull or McL? How will Ferrari and Mercedes perform? π€

In Spain, the teams with the LOWEST average top speeds in qualifying (McL and RedBull, despite their tows) had the BEST performanceπ‘
Ferrari: highest top speed, but suffered in the high-speed corners due to lower downforceβ οΈ
NOR's tow was worth 2km/h, VER's 4km/h
Ferrari seems determined to run a less loaded wing in Austria, too (2nd image): let's see if it will work better here! π

RedBull's aerodynamic efficiency was unmatched:
π‘VER was quickest at the end of all straights (Lowest Drag) and quickest in all the (non-full-throttle) high-speed corners! (high downforce)
π NOR exploited McL's great traction.
π’RUS was never the quickest outside of Sector 2.
Verstappen will start the sprint with 2 McLarens behind him!
How do you expect it to end?

Tyre degradation was extremely high today, even taking into account the fact that Pirelli brought their softest compounds here (C3-C5).
Despite that, the Medium was actually a better tyre than the Hard, as the latter had similar durability at the expense of grip.

β οΈ Verstappen complained about 'clipping', and he was right: he had a consistent top-speed deficit to Norris (the opposite than in qualifying), which grew larger in the 2nd stint.
πͺ«His ERS deployment reduced towards the end of the straight, limiting his top speed.
πNorris' pace improved significantly throughout the race, allowing him to attack the leader in the last stint.

Silverstone: probably the most demanding track for the tyres! π

- Cornering grip is crucial for performance here!
Most will use medium-load wings.
McL's downforce and RedBull's efficiency will be handy.β
