The entire administration's position 48 hours ago was that ICE had the right to commit extrajudicial murder and they had the right to lie about it. Hegseth explicitly said ICE was more important than the entire state of Minnesota.

Throwing their shock troops under the bus now is a sign of tremendous weakness. Trump's demotion of Bovino is the first of many fractures that will tear apart Trump's coalition.

Before, they were united by the war they had declared, together, on the rest of humanity. Now ICE are just murderers who were betrayed by a doddering old man, rightly hated by a whole society.

Never forget that it was decentralized, autonomous, grassroots direct action that achieved this victory—not politicians, parties, or petitioning.
