Study Reveals Glyphosate Found in 80% of American Urine Samples

More than 80% of urine samples drawn from children and adults in a US health study contained Glyphosate - weedkilling chemical linked to cancer.

More than 200 million pounds of #Glyphosate are used annually by US farmers on their fields. The weedkiller is sprayed directly over genetically engineered crops such as corn and soybeans, and also over non-genetically engineered crops such as wheat and oats as a desiccant to dry crops out prior to harvest. The Grocery Store is Filled with Glyphosate-ridden Foods

The Detox Project tested popular foods from Whole Foods, Target, Natural Grocers, Hy-Vee and Amazon for glyphosate (Roundup Weed Killer) residues. MORE THAN HALF of the products tested contained alarming levels of glyphosate. The majority of bread tested contained extremely dangerous levels.

Philadelphia jury awards $175 million after deciding 83-year-old man got cancer from Roundup weed killer

"A Philadelphia Common Pleas Court jury on Friday delivered a $175 million verdict against the maker of Roundup weed killer, finding in favor of an 83-year-old city man who alleged the herbicide gave him cancer.

The verdict for Ernest Caranci came at the end of a three-week trial over whether glyphosate, the key ingredient in Roundup, and another chemical compound are carcinogenic. The verdict includes $150 million for punitive damages."
