In terms of party strategy, it is true to say that the Front national shifted its own position and moved away from the conciliatory attitude embodied by the mégrétiste group amongst the party’s top-level elites prior to the 1999 split, towards the “neither left, nor right” strategy of revolutionary nationalism. This new direction was formulated and articulated in the IXth party congress of February 1994 and subsequent summer university in July 1995 under the auspices of the radicalized youth organisation of the party (FNJ). The shift in party positioning was notably due to the changing balance of power and the growing influence of the rival faction led by Bruno Gollnisch together with a number of former Secretary General Jean-Pierre Stirbois’ supporters in response to the transformation of the FN’s electorate and the consolidation of the national, popular and social right amongst blue-collar workers, which emerged from the outcome of the 1995 presidential ballot.

It is now official that the new president of Poland is going be Karol Nawrocki, a candidate supported by the conservative Law and Justice party (PiS). That means no radical changes are to be expected from the office, as the current president of Poland, Andrzej Duda, is a member of said party.

This is a huge success of Poland's pro-life movement, as that means that the president will keep blocking the liberal-majority parliament's attempts at liberalising abortion laws.

Interestingly, other right wing candidates also did well. In the first round of the elections, the combined votes for Nawrocki, Sławomir Mentzen and Grzegorz Braun constituted 50.69%. That by itself in not a reason to celebrate. Mentzen is a borderline libertarian. Braun wants to ditch Poland's anti-Russian foreign policy and stop the CPK project (which is a project of expansion and modernisation of Poland's transport network, something Poland will desperately need to quickly transport and sustain NATO troops in case of direct Russian aggresion). The Law and Justice party, despite using traditionalist talking points, keeps accepting hundreds of thousands of "legal" Asian immigrants, never takes direct action against the LGBT movement and has a history of persecuting nationalists. On the other hand, the Law and Justice party remains the most internally pro-welfare state and externally anti-Russian of all big parties in Poland.

Nevertheless, the elections indicate that the Polish are growing tired of the domination of liberals. Perhaps we, Third-Position nationalists, will be able to capitalise on their failure. If nothing else, the liberal-majority parliament will be stuck in its struggle against the president for multiple years, possibly keeping itself too busy to energetically persecute Polish nationalists.

Additionally, Nawrocki has technically never been a member of PiS so there is a chance he will rise above that party's flaws. It is reasonable to be cautiously optimistic.

Will our “people” endure this trial after us? I do not know. I hope they are capable of it. But if not, then our feats will amount to nothing if this spirit dies in the melting pot of multiculturalism and consumerism.

International antisemitic congress

A world Nationalist Congress sponsored by the U.S. New Christian Crusade Church, was held at Métairie, Louisiana, on 8-10 September 1976. According to a report in the N.C.C.C. monthly paper Christian Vanguard, October 1976, it was “actually a world-wide Anti-Jewish Congress”—“the first step in 40 years of Right-wing organisations to form a united front against the Jews”. Organizers are now said to be touring South America and Europe, and “we hope to have every non-communist country in South America and Europe represented in the World Nationalist Organization by the middle of 1977”. The Congress was attended by delegates from 35 countries including Germany, Britain, Flanders, Canada, Mexico as well as the U.S.A., and letters of support were received from groups in Austria, France, Spain, Italy, Holland, Norway, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Uruguay, South Africa, Rhodesia, New Zealand, also from Cuban, Hungarian and Romanian exiles.

The National Way Forward!

This book amounts to almost 200 pages and is written from the perspective of Irish republican Catholicism in a genuinely radical manner as opposed to that of the false liberal-leftist ethos espoused by Gerry Adams and his counterparts.

Barrett’s vision is that of an ‘Ireland, united, Gaelic and free’ based upon Catholic social doctrine and divorced from the liberal capitalist dogma which the author bitterly castigates throughout his work. Barrett applauds the theories of Hilaire Belloc and G.K. Chesterton, ideas which are common to nationalists throughout Europe, and advances Third Positionist concepts of opposition to international finance, capitalism and atheistic Marxism, Ireland’s EU membership and liberalism in the guise of homosexuality, abortion, divorce and naked materialism. He also examines the links between the New York financial empire and the Soviet revolution.

Barrett’s book deserves reading by all those seeking national freedom and social justice.
