Looking at the past to build the future

Over the next few weeks we will run through some organisations and movements in which we support from particular European countries, with links and contact information on how you can get involved if you’re from that city/region.

Building a strong Nationalistic Pan-European front has never been more important & integral to our survival.

Today we’ll start with France 🇫🇷

As always, we think the active club model is perfect aspiration for young and eager Europeans, Active Club France, AC France has been around for a few years and is one of the more well known clubs.

The Comite Du 9 Mai is responsible for organising the annual homage March to Sébastien Deyzieu, a militant nationalist who was killed by police in 1993, hundreds of French nationalists attend.

Lyon Populaire, Luminis Paris, Oriflamme Rennes & Red Angers follow the more Identitarianism route, with a focus on education and activism.

If you’re a lady, Nemesis Collective is for you, the anti-feminism pro female patriotic organisation.

Academia Christiana is a royalist catholic youth group which organises camps and events for French youth. Likewise with Patria Albiges In southern France.

Clermont Non conform / Bloc Montpellierain are also very worthy in their particular cities.

Urgence Humanitare is French nationalist humanitarian organisation that organises aid and assistance to Ukraine and Armenia

Associate Clan helps and aids militants facing government repression, fundraising and organising legal representation when needed.

Football ultras from Lyon, Nice, Lille, Strasbourg & Bordeaux also share ideals.

A great channel to follow for the French nationalist and militant scene is “Ouest Casual”.

Unfortunately over the years french resistance has also come under the hammer, iconic groups such as Zouaves Paris (A group of Nationalist football hooligans) and the GUD Paris have both been proscribed, but as the saying the goes. “You can kill the man but not the idea”.

Nazione Futura sheds light on the robust transnational linkages between various groups of the European Far Right. For example, the organization is a “collaborator” in the publication of The European Conservative—linking it to other partner organizations, specifically the Bibliothek des Konservatismus in Berlin and CEDI/EDIC in Vienna. Additionally, The European Conservative partners with the Iliade Institute, further linking Nazione Futura to the French Nouvelle Droite of Venner, De Benoist, and Le Gallou. Likewise, the organization has also looked eastward to develop similar partnerships—Nazione Futura is a founding member of the Alliance for the Common Good and Giubilei has represented the organization in Hungary on numerous occasions. The sheer multiplicity of activities in which Nazione Futura is involved attests to the truly transnational nature of today’s European Far Right.

The reason why the advent of Izquierda Española and its strong commitment to a belief system may pose a threat to VOX is that the right-wing party has become, over the past few years, the party of the working class in Spain. This transition has been very explicit, as part of a strategy well designed and even better implemented. 

VOX’s transformation has followed the pattern of the New Right across the West. As a matter of fact, one of the main features of this New Right—which borrows its name from Alain de Benoist’s Nouvelle Droite—is its concern for the working class. There are both ideological and instrumental elements behind this; however, both are intertwined.

VOX has greatly benefited from this transition electorally, but this transformation has also brought about a number of challenges. One has been the needed—or perhaps just sought—replacement of a considerable part of the party’s leadership, removing most of the classical liberal or liberal conservative remnants and embracing its more Lepénist-nativist side. And another has been to engage—maybe unnoticeably—with the very thing a party like VOX was meant to fight: Marxist dialectics. 

Here, again, Solidaridad is a very good example. A month ago, Rodrigo Alonso, MP and secretary general of Solidaridad, said publicly that “the company belongs to its workers.” This type of statement, which was subject to massive online discussions, is similar to other things he has previously said, such as to discount “the rich, as they are rich by nature.” 

These types of considerations have been branded by some as straight fascism—or the Spanish flavour of it, Falangism—as an example of how the Right can also be rooted in socialism.
