β€œGermany issued debt-free and interest-free money from 1935 and on, accounting for its startling rise from the depression to a world power in 5 years. Germany financed its entire government and war operation from 1935 to 1945 without gold and without debt, and it took the whole Capitalist and Communist world to destroy the German power over Europe and bring Europe back under the heel of the Bankers. Such history of money does not even appear in the textbooks of public (government) schools today.”

The FN/RN’s β€˜proletarianisation’, particularly in the economic field has seen the development of an economic policy with many parallels to counter-globalist movements more often associated with left-wing politics. The party proposes a protectionist, nationalist economy designed to protect French industry, farmers, artisans and workers from Chinese and other Developing World products, to avoid a β€˜race to the bottom’ in terms of workers’ living standards. According to Marine Le Pen this would require national preference for French products in governmental acquisition, an increase in the minimum wage, and policies designed to protect the character and economy of rural and regional France. These policies are aimed at appealing to native, β€˜ethnic’ French, and sympathetic immigrants concerned about impacts of post industrialism, globalisation and neoliberalism, represented as destroying the French nation: economically, culturally and politically. The argument is made that French industries will be usurped by multi-national corporations, which will see all people as fungible commodities and little more.

In terms of voter intention, Shields’ (2013) analysis of IPSOS polling figures show the FN/RN has a strong working class element in its base of support. The analysis indicates 29% support from manual workers (with the FN the most popular choice), 21% amongst other wage earning employees, and 25% from shopkeepers. The figures characterise the National Front under Marine Le Pen being the most popular party with those of little earning power and the lowest educational levels. Whereas β€˜far right’ descriptors are most often applied to the party, supporters come from a demographic traditionally linked to social democratic parties, and report no affinity for left or right. The National Rally (formerly National Front) offers a third position found to be viable for those unrepresented by the established centre parties, or left politics like those offered by Jean-Luc MΓ©lenchon.

This move to the left, in the sense of a targeted interventionism in the economy, would define the RN as a party that is reasonable in its approach and broad acceptability, within the French context. The platform is presented as deeply pro-French, as the first priority, and relates this popular theme to concerns over mass immigration and Islamism as threatening to France.

β€œ[Mussolini] is in politics exactly what I am in art. He has realized an essentially Futurist programme that calls for (rΓ©clame) confidence in the future of Italy, daily heroism, love of danger, violence considered as an argument.”

In your work on Germany you attach great importance to the so-called 'vΓΆlkische idea'. Can we also find it in France?

George Mosse: "Yes, think for example of the French writer Maurice Barrès and his 'la terre et la mort'. It is roughly the same. It is perhaps more accentuated in Germany after 1870, after the disappointment with national unity. But it was also important in France after the defeat in 1870. What you get in France, and not in Germany, is this combination of nationalism and socialism. Germany of course had its nationalism, in some cases racism, for example in the case of Wagner. But the social component which was so strong in France, with the distribution of property and the interest in the working class, was much weaker there."

β€œEurope is lost”

We see a lot of defeatist messaging from Alt-Right and dissident voices, most of the time it’s just irrelevant propaganda aimed at clicks and views.

The reality is that Europe is at a crossroads, but she is not lost. However, time is running out.

Below we will run through some racial demographics of major European countries.

England - 81.7% white

France - 84.5% white

Spain - 87% white

Germany 89% white

When we compare these to Russia (72%) and the USA (57%) we can see that time is still on our side.

Never lose hope, without hope their is no victory.

As Zelensky’s visit to the U.S. ends in diplomatic tension, one lesson becomes clear: Europe must not look across the ocean for salvation.

For too long, America has dictated how Europe should live, think, and govern itself. Washington was the one that pushed Europe into the left-liberal corner, rejecting traditions, cultures, and identities. The current crisis shows that even in matters of security, the interests of Europe are secondary. If Ukraine cannot secure guarantees, then what can the rest of Europe expect? The false belief in American goodwill is gone.

Europe’s future lies in its own hands β€” no one else will protect our lands, our people, and our heritage. In a world of fleeting alliances, Europe must awaken to its historical role as the defender of its own civilization. There is no other time but now, no other duty but to defend the Eastern frontiers of our cradle. To delay is to betray our ancestors and endanger our descendants.

Sovereignty, as taught by Cato the Younger, is born not from compromise but from the ability to say "no" β€” like the Venetian Doges, who chained the lagoon to block foreign fleets. Europe needs a Third Position: not to negotiate with those who see us as a colony, but to transform borders into altars of power, as did the Prussian Junkers. Our strength lies in the autarky of spirit.

We stand for Europe. We fight for Europe. Europe above all!

On the cusp of an almighty row over Trump’s planned mass deportations, let’s look to Europe for light relief.

Last month, the pridefully left-wing management of the storied 19th-century Parisian theatre GaitΓ© Lyrique, owned by the pridefully left-wing Paris council and traditionally the home of operettas, digital arts and musical performances, staged a free conference on β€˜reinventing the refugee welcome in France’. The organisers literally invited their own downfall: 200 West African migrants who apparently felt very welcome indeed and refused to leave.

Obviously, this fiasco is a metaphor for European immigration more generally.

The Russian Volunteer Corps at a β€˜Russia against Putin’ anti-war march in Berlin

The presence of the Russian Volunteer Corps at the rally sparked controversy in the buildup to Saturday’s event after its founder, Denis Kapustin, warned that members of the group could physically attack marchers who carried Russian tricolour flags.

"We’re not 'Navalny fans' or liberals, so we’ll hit first", Kapustin wrote in a now-deleted post on Telegram earlier this week.

The Martel Division, which had been under scrutiny by French intelligence services for several months, is part of a burgeoning network of similar organizations, stemming from France's radical identitarians or extreme Catholics. These groups are believers of racist conspiracy theories, such as that of the "great replacement" of white, Catholic European populations by those from African and North African immigrant backgrounds, and they champion violence as the only means of winning this "race war" to which they aspire. The dissolution decree states that "the group organizes combat training" and "promotes the use of [non-firearm] weapons in the confrontations that it encourages."

Just a few dozen members strong, most of whom are based in Paris, the Martel Division – which was briefly called LΓ©gionnaires Paris – is partly the continuation of another group, Zouaves Paris. This organization was dissolved in January 2022 for the same reasons, notably following an attack on anti-racist activists at a December 2021 campaign rally by far-right pundit Eric Zemmour in Villepinte, just north of Paris. It is also close to the Paris branch of the Group for Union and Defense (GUD) in Paris, another violent far-right group that was very active in the 1970s…
