If Donald Trump does implement what he promised in his short term, he can partially remedy the decline of North America. But it is not at all certain that this will benefit us.
Indeed, Europe does not exist in Trumpian rhetoric, except as a captive market. And he only sees France as an amusement park.
Because Trump remains an American who therefore looks at the world through his distorting glasses: progressive, capitalist and puritan.
The weakening of the North American overlord was an opportunity for us to regain our freedom of action and our identity as a civilization. But, if we are not careful, a MAGA America risks distancing us, for a time, from this perspective.

If we want to talk about Europe, make plans for Europe, we must think of Europe as something which has never been: something whose meaning and identity remain to be invented. Europe has never been and can never be a โ€˜fatherland,โ€™ a โ€˜land of our fathersโ€™; it can never be planned, projected, except, in Nietzscheโ€™s words, as a โ€˜land of our sons.โ€™

Political Schism in Europe

Hans Vogel critiques Alice Weidelโ€™s interview with Elon Musk as a stark example of Europeโ€™s political inversion, where loyalty to postwar orthodoxy and U.S. interests eclipses true conservatism and sovereignty.

"Archeofuturism is about using new technologies to revitalize much older traditions. It is the fusion of tradition and innovation. In a way, everyone engages in Archeofuturism. If we use modern communication tools to promote our origins, heritage, and traditions, then we are practicing a form of Archeofuturism."

Jean-Yves Le Gallou

The European soul is marked by a longing for the future, a sign of youthfulness. To put it shortly, it is historial and imaginal (it constantly envisages future history according to a plan). In art, too, European civilisation has been the only one in which forms have undergone constant renovation and all cyclical return of past models has been banned. The spirit of artworks must remain unchanged (the archaic pole) but their form must always change (the futurist pole). The European soul is defined by ongoing creation and invention โ€“ the poiesis of the Greeks โ€“ while being always aware of the fact that in its direction and values it must remain faithful to tradition.

Suspension of immigration and encouragement of re-emigration hang together, logically and humanly, as two aspects of the same approach.

The Baโ€™ath party offers the unique case of being the only Pan-Arab political party (if we make an exception in the very original case of the Syrian Popular Party โ€“ Translatorโ€™s note: Better known as the SSNP today) to have tried to elaborate a truly โ€œnational-revolutionaryโ€ doctrine with a certain degree of coherence, thanks to the political and historical analyses of its founder and leader, Michel Aflaq (a Greek-Orthodox Syrian), firstly in numerous articles disseminated, and above all, in the complete volume โ€œFi sabรฎl al-Baโ€™as,โ€ published in Damascus in 1959, at the time of the Syrian-Egyptian Union, within the United Arab Republic.

This โ€œArab socialismโ€ only attracts the classical Marxist response: โ€œPetit-bourgeois populism!โ€ โ€œSocial fascist demagogy!โ€
In any case, Baโ€™athist socialism is identical to the socialism of all the Fascist type movements and Aflaq limits himself to distinguishing himself from the Western Fascist thinkers (despite his hostility to โ€œideologies foreign to the Arab worldโ€ which he mostly did to fend off Communism), while refusing the Marxist divides of the class struggle.

Fratelli dโ€™Italia is โ€œpostfascistโ€: It distances itself from the Mussolini era, but defends the postwar record of the MSI, from which most of its leaders hail. In particular, it honors the MSI as a โ€œsocialโ€ right-wing party that โ€œalways stood up for the poorest.โ€
