🔔🔔Research scientist in IoT- and AI-based Decision Support Systems

The successful candidate is expected to assume a leading role in defining, acquiring, managing, and scientifically contributing to projects in the areas covered by the SerVal group, and more specifically IoT and AI-based Decision Support (DSS) systems, whose underlying theories and techniques span from multi-objective optimization and multi-attribute decision making, uncertainty modelling, Machine Learning (ML), and input data span from real-time IoT sensor data, expert knowledge and expectation. The candidate will be involved in the development of innovative DSS as part of ongoing research collaborations involving various companies.
The missions are to:
Publish research results in top conferences/journals.
Contribute to the supervision of the PhD students and junior research associates.
Contribute to industry partners acquisition and industry-projects management, with a special orientation towards the energy sector.
Prepare and contribute to European and National research proposals to support the research effort of the Serval Group.
In short, lead a subgroup and its projects portfolio, with constructive interactions with the rest of SerVal group, with a vision, research agenda and publication strategy.
