🇷🇺🇧🇫 21 сентября С.В.Лавров провёл «на полях» 78-й сессии Генеральной Ассамблеи ООН встречу с Министром иностранных дел, регионального сотрудничества и по делам буркинийцев за рубежом Буркина-Фасо О.Р.Руамбой.
Стороны обменялись мнениями по наиболее актуальным вопросам двусторонних отношений, региональной и международной повестки дня, в том числе с учётом итогов прошедшего в июле в Санкт-Петербурге второго Саммита Россия – Африка.
Подтверждён обоюдный настрой на активизацию российско-буркинийского взаимовыгодного сотрудничества в различных областях с упором на расширение кооперации в торгово-экономической и гуманитарной сферах.
Отмечена важность продолжения тесной внешнеполитической координации двух стран.

📌 Обратили внимание на очередной «пакет» американской помощи Украине. Постоянная накачка Вашингтоном своих клиентов в Киеве оружием и деньгами давно никого не удивляет. Администрация США не могла «вернуть домой» подопечного, уничтожающего собственный народ и покорно ведущего войну «по доверенности» против нашей страны, без «утешительных подарков».
📌 Здесь готовы поставлять украинцам все что угодно, любую, самую опасную продукцию военного назначения. Лишь бы дать возможность хоть как-то поддержать на плаву провалившееся «контрнаступление». Своих задач ВСУ не добились, понеся огромные потери в живой силе и технике. Это признают и большинство здешних экспертов.
☝️ Призываем Вашингтон осознать бесперспективность безостановочной передачи «пакетов» помощи киевскому режиму. Усилия Запада не в состоянии изменить ситуацию «на земле». Зато приведут к дальнейшему затягиванию конфликта, новым жертвами и разрушениям. СВО будет продолжена до полного достижения заявленных целей.

📌 We have noted yet another U.S. aid package to Ukraine. Washington's constant pumping of weapons and money into its clients in Kiev has long surprised no one. The US Administration could not bring home its ward, destroying his own people and obediently waging a proxy war against our country, without consolation prizes.
📌 The United States is ready to supply Ukrainians with anything, any, the most dangerous materiel just to give them an opportunity to somehow keep the failed "counter-offensive" afloat. The Ukrainian armed forces have not achieved their objectives, having suffered huge losses in manpower and equipment. This fact is acknowledged by the majority of local experts.
☝️ We urge Washington to realize the futility of the non-stop transfer of aid packages to the Kiev regime. The West’s efforts cannot change the situation on the ground. Instead, they will lead to a further prolongation of the conflict as well as to new casualties and destruction. The special military operation will continue until the stated objectives have been fully achieved.

🇷🇺🇺🇳 21 сентября «на полях» недели высокого уровня 78-й сессии Генассамблеи ООН С.В.Лавров провёл беседу с Генеральным секретарем ООН А.Гутеррешем.
В центре внимания традиционно были наиболее острые международные проблемы, а также различные аспекты сотрудничества России и ООН.
❗️ Министр в очередной раз подчеркнул необходимость неукоснительного соблюдения руководством ООН и всеми без исключения сотрудниками всемирной Организации принципов беспристрастности и равноудаленности, зафиксированных в статье 100 Устава ООН. В адрес А.Гутерреша обращён призыв предотвращать втягивание представителей ооновских структур
в политизированные инициативы в контексте украинского кризиса. Заострено внимание на заверениях Генсекретаря ООН воздерживаться от участия в начинаниях, не предполагающих участия всех сторон.
С.В.Лавров также указал на недопустимость использования в ооновских статистических и иных документах «двойных стандартов» применительно к различным территориям.
👉 Подробно обсуждалась тематика реформирования ООН в целях её адаптации к современным реалиям с акцентом на инициативу А.Гутерреша «Наша общая повестка». Министр отметил важность учёта всего спектра мнений государств-членов ООН при реализации любых реформенных начинаний.
Было заявлено, что Россия примет самое активное участие в соответствующих дискуссиях в рамках «Саммита будущего» в сентябре 2024 года, в том числе в работе над его итоговым документом – «Пактом для будущего».
Кроме того, Министр обратил внимание Генсекретаря на продолжающиеся нарушения США своих обязательств по Соглашению о Центральных учреждениях ООН от 1947 года, включая отказы в выдаче виз дипломатам из России и ряда других стран для участия в мероприятиях по ооновской линии.
☝️ Вновь отметил, что сложившаяся ситуация диктует необходимость скорейшего запуска А.Гутеррешем процедуры арбитража против Соединённых Штатов, о чем неоднократно говорилось в профильных резолюциях Генассамблеи ООН.

💬 The talks focusing on the scope of the summit and its final documents have revealed deep differences in a number of key areas. The reason for this lies in the West’s relentless pursuit of hegemony and its attempts to counteract the development of a fairer international order and to impose the infamous rules-based order which undermines international law and runs counter to the interests of the Global Majority countriest.
Such self-centred politics has already triggered a profound crisis in European security and is now creating extremely dangerous tensions in the Asia-Pacific region, where bloc-based approaches are being aggressively promoted.
👉 The goals of the Summit of the Future include reaffirming the commitment of all UN Member States to the principles of the UN Charter in their entirety and interdependence, giving a boost to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda, and reforming the global monetary system to reflect the actual weight and legitimate interests of the Global South. <...>
We join in calling on the Secretary-General to draft a report about the repercussions of unilateral sanctions. <...>
☝️ Russia will continue to increase its contribution to achieving the sustainable development goals, seeking balanced and acceptable solutions during the preparations for the Summit of the Future. The success of the summit is firmly grounded in the UN Charter principles, above all, the respect for sovereign equality of states and the preservation and strengthening of the intergovernmental nature of our organisation.
We caution against turning the Summit of the Future into an arena for pitting “democracies” against “autocracies.” We are concerned about signs of the UN Secretariat’s susceptibility to this confrontational concept.

🗓 On September 21, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov took part in the traditional informal meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the countries that are parties to the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (#CICA), which took place on the sidelines of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The discussion focused on ways to enhance the association's effort to implement the decisions made by the 6th CICA Summit (Astana, October 13, 2022).
☝️ The Russian Side outlined the importance of the Conference’s further evolution along the trajectory of positive co-development, its integration into the processes of forming a comfortable political and economic environment in the Eurasian space for the benefit of deepening practical cooperation.
At Russia’s initiative, volunteering was added to the updated CICA catalogue of confidence building measures and a ministerial statement was adopted in support of this manifestation of civic responsibility aimed at strengthening humanitarian interconnectedness.
👉 Russia’s term as CICA Coordinator for Security of and in the Use of Information and Communication Technologies has been extended for another two years until 2025. The partners supported Russia's plans to hold new dedicated events in this area.

The Ministers discussed topical matters related to further strengthening the traditionally friendly relations between Russia and Mali, and also engaged in an interested exchange of views on the situation in the Sahara-Sahel region, including the developments in the Republic of Niger. Russia reaffirmed its commitment to continuing to contribute to stabilising the situation in Mali, including within the United Nations.
