В субботу, 8 июля в Российском культурном центре состоялось празднование Дня любви, семьи и верности.
Более 60 человек посетили выставку старинных самоваров и концерт ансамбля «Матрешки». Кроме того, в торжественной обстановке директор центра Ольга Головащенко наградила медалью «За любовь и верность» протоиерея Свято-Иоанно-Предтеченского собора в Вашингтоне отца Виктора и матушку Марию.
Специально для гостей отец Виктор рассказал о православных корнях праздника, об истории Петра и Февроньи, а также показал икону с мощами святых.

💬 Благодарим Вас за то, что приняли наше приглашение и согласились провести шестой раунд стратегического диалога #РоссияССАГПЗ (Россия – Совет сотрудничества арабских государств Персидского залива) в Москве, начало которого ожидается в ближайшие часы.
Между тем отмечу, что это хорошая возможность, чтобы обсудить двусторонние отношения между нашими государствами, которые мы высоко ценим.
Отношения лидеров Российской Федерации В.В.Путина и Королевства Бахрейн Хамада Бен Иса Аль Халифы находятся на высоком уровне и основаны на взаимном доверии. Стоит отметить наше регулярное функционирование на базе заседания Межправительственной Российско-Бахрейнской комиссии по торгово-экономическому и научно-техническому сотрудничеству.

💬 Thank you for accepting our invitation and agreeing to hold the sixth round of the Russia-Gulf Cooperation Council strategic dialogue in Moscow, due to start in the next few hours.
I would also like to note that this is a good opportunity to discuss bilateral relations between our states; we value these relations very much.
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa maintain high-level relations based on mutual trust. I would like to note our cooperation at meetings of the Intergovernmental Russia-Bahrain Commission on Trade, Economic, Science and Technical Cooperation.

Уважаем взвешенную и ответственную позицию Кувейта в отношении попыток представить ситуацию как катастрофу глобального масштаба, по сравнению с которой никакие другие проблемы не могут иметь значения. Считаю, что это нечестно по отношению к существующим на протяжении десятилетий проблемам Ближнего Востока, Северной Африки (Палестино-Израильский конфликт, а также проблемы Ирака, Ливии и Сирии).
В ходе данной встречи мы сможем обсудить двусторонние проблемы. Рад, что в них наблюдаются «подвижки». Надо обратить особое внимание на экономические и торговые связи наших стран.

💬 We appreciate your visit as part of the Gulf Cooperation Council. This is a convenient format, especially in these troubled times. I believe that it is important that we discuss a large number of issues because due to the activity of some of our colleagues, many priority issues have gone by the wayside.
We respect Kuwait’s weighed and responsible approach towards the attempts to present the situation as a global catastrophe in comparison to which no other issue matters. I believe that this is unfair to the decades-old issues of the Middle East and North Africa (the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, as well as the issues of Iraq, Libya and Syria).
During the meeting, we will also be able to discuss bilateral issues. I am happy to see that there is progress. It is necessary to pay special attention to economic and trade ties between our countries.
