⚡️ Foreign Ministry’s statement on the terrorist attack against writer Zakhar Prilepin organised by Ukrainian security services

On May 6, Alexander Shubin, a veteran of military operations in the LPR, was killed and Russian writer, publicist and public figure Yevgeny Prilepin (Zakhar Prilepin) gravely injured as a result of a car explosion caused by an explosive device planted along its route in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
Russian law enforcement agencies are investigating all the details of the incident. However, it is already clear from the materials received due to the prompt efforts of the Interior Ministry and the Investigative Committee that it was another terrorist attack organised and carried out by the Kiev regime backed by its Western curators.
The terrorist attack against Yevgeny Prilepin is yet another demonstration of the systematic approach to eliminating ideological opponents, which has been actively nurtured in Ukraine since 2014 through the efforts of Washington, becoming the Kiev regime’s basic reflex.

Today, a real hunt has been declared for unbiased journalists, writers, and public figures. Darya Dugina, Maxim Fomin - murdered, attempt on the life of Konstantin Malofeyev made.
❗️ The responsibility for this and other terrorist acts lies on the Ukrainian authorities together with their Western sponsors, mainly the United States, through whose efforts the anti-Russia project blended with neo-Nazism has been painstakingly nurtured in Ukraine since the coup in February 2014.
The lack of condemnation by the US authorities of another terrorist attack against a Russian journalist and public figure is telling - it speaks for itself.
The silence of relevant international organisations is unacceptable.
We express our condolences to the families and friends of the victims, and wish Yevgeny Prilepin a speedy recovery.

On May 5, the "Nuremberg" movie received its North American premiere at the Russian Embassy in the United States. “Nuremberg Trials: The view from Moscow” exhibition (provided by the Alexander Pechersky Memorial Foundation) was also demonstrated to our guests.
☝️The display proves to be very helpful in giving a deeper insight into that historic event when the most notorious Nazi criminals were put on trial and senior government officials of the Third Reich were sentenced to death. The exhibition inter alia focuses on the decisive role of the USSR in Nuremberg Trials: the Soviet Union suggested and insisted on setting up an international tribunal.
The exhibition, containing photographs, archival documents, captivating stories of the participants, gives an impartial account of the main stages of Nuremberg Trials, from the moment the very idea of setting up an international tribunal crystallized to the execution of the top Nazi officials.

✍️ Президент России В.В.Путин направил поздравления лидерам и гражданам иностранных государств по случаю 78-й годовщины Победы в Великой Отечественной войне
В поздравлениях глава Российского государства отметил, что в этот знаменательный день мы воздаём дань глубокого уважения и признательности всем тем, чьи беспримерные подвиги на полях сражений и самоотверженный труд в тылу позволили сокрушить нацистских захватчиков и отстоять свободу родной земли.
💬 «Сегодня наш нравственный долг – свято хранить завещанные отцами и дедами традиции дружбы и взаимопомощи, не допускать искажения исторической правды о Великой Отечественной войне, как и оправдания нацистов, их пособников и нынешних идейных наследников», – говорится в посланиях.
☝️ Как подчеркнул Президент России, духовное наследие Великой Победы и впредь будет способствовать упрочению и плодотворному развитию отношений между нашими странами и народами.
