Developer Bob Byarke created a weather website for the Star Wars planet Tatooine. He collaborated with AI to create an entire weather system and then output a daily forecast of temperature, humidity, wind, precipitation, and the orbits of Tatooine's two suns.

The site updates automatically every day and also includes an AI-generated description of the weather.

Odyssey with the support of Ed Catmull presented a research version of interactive video technology, fully generated by AI in real-time.

This is not just a video, but an environment where you can move around, explore, and in the future, communicate by voice.

The model generates new frames every 40 ms, creating a sense of continuous movement. There are no game engines here, only models and data. Visually, it currently resembles a blurry Google Street View, but the potential is huge.

It's all heading towards new formats of storytelling, which is amazing, of course.
